Pirouetting on full point
She was a whirling top
Held position in her place
Until the spinning stopped
With graceful leaping far from it
Arching high into the air
Flying free, loosed from her trap
Where she had entwined there
Such abandon was the dance
From winding into free
Energy swirled tightly close
Then flung out joyously
Reflection of earth’s tensions felt
Healing’s joys of glad release
The dance portrayed reality
Hurts into grace poured free
For most such precise
exercise
Would drain them full to stop
Not so the dancer’s entity
Dance filled her to the top
Dance on, oh dancer, joyously
Fling bright to heaven’s sky
Waves of blessing flowing long
Dance praising God most high
Dance gloriously, rejoice again
Salvation o’er death won
Let beautiful expression given
Devotion in dance spun

12 so that I can sing to You and not be silent. Lord my God, I will praise You forever.”

Such a whirl, so uplifting that this poem made me feel as though I was the dancer. Great imagery and delightful.
