At the New Year

Hush…

Stop the noise and listen
Silence the numbing sounds
God calls for our attention 
Let holiness come down 

Hear Abba’s Words eternal  
Infusing to our souls
The Spirit’s holy whisperings 
Brings life to make us whole 

Wait upon His strengthening
Deeper to greater need 
Be still and know that He is God 
Oh hear Yeshua speak 

Teach us LORD this New Year 
To know You closer still 
To walk in tandem with You
In all things do Your will 

Thank You Father, Spirit, Son 
For Your redeeming grace 
We bow before Your Holiness 
Lift hands in grateful praise

Receiving now with thankful hearts 
At threshold of the year
Your sacrifice poured out for us
Your Love and blessings here
