Undulating with the land
Lining roads like concert chairs
Or spiked hair on shaven heads
Stalwartly just standing there
Oft’ a perch for falcon’s rest
Summer frame for winding vine
Holding firm they pass the test
Braving weather of all kinds
Catching troves of tumbling weeds
Flat toothpicks knit in stout rows
Cannot bind the blowing wind
Yet guard roads from drifting snow
Countless passers-by go on
Hurrying yet to places fair
Through gusting winds, o’er slippery roads
Safer for snow fences there

Thank You, LORD, for the myriad ways protection is given as we travel through this world. Please bless all whose efforts bring ease, safety. and comfort to others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Deuteronomy 31:8 NKJV
“And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.”

Lovely!! Amen to your prayer with mine that all our broken fences be mended…. “Snow” fences: such a precious description of the work of the Spirit!
